St. Thomas is half an hour south on Highway 4, a railway town turned commuter and industrial centre with older brick houses on deep lots and new subdivisions filling in on the north and east sides.

The older streets off Talbot Street have generous rear yards and detached garages, which makes for an easy dolly delivery and room for a seven seater. The J-385 at $26,595 and the Wellness Shop Ontario S104 at $15,595 both do well here with families who want seats for teenagers and their friends. In the newer subdivisions the lots are tighter and the fence usually goes in the same summer as the tub, so we coordinate with the fence contractor on gate width. St. Thomas is on municipal water, so water care is simple, and if you are on a rural well outside town, bring a sample.

St. Thomas buyers are a mix: plant and trades workers on rotating shifts, hospital staff who commute up to London, and retirees who moved down from the city for a bigger yard. Port Stanley and the Lake Erie shore are twenty minutes further south, so we also see beach and lakeshore owners looking at a Nordic 110V tub or a Serenity Mini for a cottage property. Check with the city on setbacks before pouring a pad, and have a licensed electrician run the circuit with an ESA inspection; we coordinate the timing so the tub is filled the day it lands.
